Police in Fredericton, New Brunswick, have confirmed four fatalities in a shooting incident, including two police officers.
Police officers in the Canadian city advised members of the public to avoid the area of Brookside Drive between Main and Ring Road, and said they would provide more information when they can.
So far, four deaths have been officially confirmed, including two police officers, with one suspect in custody being treated for “serious injuries”.
The local force has confirmed that there is now “no further threat to the public”.
